Working hard or hardly working?

Oh this Tuesday has been far too long, I woke up at 5:30!!! Which is beyond my comprehension, I don't even like to think that people are awake at that hour unless they are returning home from a night out. (haha) I worked from 6:30 am until 1pm then I went to lunch with my oldest friend of 16 years. Her name is Mikayla and oh dear is she great! 

We've been through thick and thin and we could not be MORE opposite. She is boy crazy (and ENGAGED!), she loves expensive things (coach, her bmw, tiffany's ring, etc), her personality could not be more dissimilar. I love her like a sister and we can just look at each other and just know! She is getting married to her newest man named Zach and he's from Alaska. She's super girly and has never been in the wilderness and he is taking her home in a few weeks to meet his family in the woods of Alaska! It's going to be hilarious to hear about. Any ways I am her MOH and could not be more excited to help my dear friend enjoy her day and feel like the Princess she really is. It's going to be beautiful!

I'm going to have to shut down soon so I can wake up at 5 to take a shower and go to work, another long day but I have Thursday-Sunday off. Hope you all have sweet dreams and a great day today and tomorrow!

Summer in Oregon

I've currently spent at least 4 hours of my day watching Jasmine Starr's Creative Live seminar. I'm learning so very much about photography business, a photographers personality and wedding photography! Yes learning and knowledge is awesome! 

Today I also spent 8 or so hours with my pops building a fence.. man am I exhausted. I've been working out but manual labor is totally different then a definition-building workout! My legs are sore from standing for so long and my arms are sore from lifting stacks for fencing boards but oh man do I feel accomplished. I built a fence! Overall it was a successful day :)

Currently watching J*, drinking homemade iced coffee and talking to my best friend from school/Alaska and catching up on our day, yes I talk to her everyday either through text/facetime/skype/video messaging.. she is hilarious and I need a dose of that everyday! She happens to be polar opposite of me but just like me in every way if that makes any sense.. we both are photographers and going to school for Graphic Design, we love the same music, specifically the songs "Do it like a Dude" by Jesse J and "Shawty Get Loose" by Lil' Mamma... girl power music is our specialty! 

I guess I should stop watching this lovely seminar and get to bed so I can wake up early (anything before 10, tomorrow's wake up call is 5:30 for work from 7-1) for work.
